I have read quite a bit about different experiences that many of us can tell in relation to dealing with Moroccan consulate in NY. I have seen all of these stories in the Member Announcements' section. I believe that the issue is much more serious and deserves much better way to address it. The reason is that our administrative documents are us and they need to be delivered to us quickly, fairly, correctly and with the best possible kindness, service and efficiency. How can we achieve that? The only answer that comes to my mind is ORGANIZATION. If we are able to make use of this wonderful resource (i.e. Internet, wafin.com) we can certainly achieve the best results possible since we are spread all over the US.
Here goes my suggestion: I request kindly from Wafin.com to create a window in the E-consulate section that will be called, for example, "Consulate Review" or "Consulate Shikayat" to allow us to write our experiences with the consulate. Since the The E-consulate section on Wafin is administered directly by the consulate of Morocco it would be great if the written comments can be emailed directly to the consulate and simultaneously be read by wafinners.
After sometime, lets say 3-4 months, we will need to sign a petition asking the consulate to improve certain aspects of the services (taken from all the Shikayat) and especially when it's the same mistake (problem) again and again.
If we do not get an answer back from them in written here at wafin.com, then we will sign letters addressed directly to their bosses in Morocco and publish in Moroccan Newspapers about the quality of services they provide in NY.
I am sure this strategy will yield the required results. Consulate personal is paid to serve us and only us, Moroccans in the US. It is not a favor that they are doing us when they issue a document. It's their duty.
Let me here from you.
Happy New Year to all Wafinners.
